New Musallah Location LAUNCHED inside Riverstone!

As salaam-o-alaikum!!

We are pleased to inform all on the establishment of a New Musullah inside the Riverstone neighborhood in Sugarland TX. This is opened since Saturday August 19th for daily prayers.

• Jummah is currently not performed at this facility

Missouri City Community Center Zoning Issues

The Mosque is temporarily closed as we work out the zoning issues.  Please contact ISGH for the latest update on this matter.

Official Start of the Mosque

Good news- the remodeling has been complete and the mosque is now fully operational. We would like to invite everyone to the first Friday Prayer (Jumah) from 1-1:30 on January 15th.  We hope you and your family can join us for this momentous occasion.

Updates

I just wanted to share the following  updates about the Musullah
 
1) ISGH Shura has formally approved the Musullah
2) So far we got 3 estimates for the buildout all estimates are around $ 40k. The land lord only agreed to reimburse us $20 k over period of 3 years
3) Due to the high build out cost we have also identified another location on Hwy 6 and township ( right behind sonic and Capital one building very close to university blvd) . This leasing space is already built out. Only major upfront cost with this leasing space is around $8k  to build a ladies restroom
 
Next Steps :
 
1) Expecting ISGH to setup River stone musllah account in next week or so
2) Expecting to finalize the leasing location in next week
3) Once the location is finalized ISGH will sign the lease

 I would like to start out by thanking everyone who pledged towards the build out cost of the Musullah. It's great to see everyone come together for the benefit of our community.  We just wanted to give you a quick update that we are hoping to get an account set up with ISGH for our Musullah. Once the account is set up, we will all then be able to donate our pledges, and or more, online for our Musullah. Our beginning of the build out construction is within the next 30 days, iA.

Musallah Location Identified

AOA,

We have Identified a location for the Musallah Project which will conveniently cater to Riverstone, Sienna Plantation, Lake Olympia and more .  Its right off hwy 6 between oilfield and knights road (next to Houston Garden Center).  It will be located on the 2nd floor (there is elevator access) and just under 1,000 sqft.  

The initial startup cost for this is estimated around 30-35K.  We need to pay this amount within the next 2 months to begin and the build out should take around 2-3 months to complete.
